Full time music studies at Clarendon College of Further Education - didn't really plan on going here. I'd started my A Level studies at Fairham school but towards the end of my first year was advised that both my music teachers were moving on and was therefore advised to audition for Clarendon.

The audition was truly awful. I didn't have an accompanist, my aural section was terrible and I couldn't play the piano!! But they offered me a place - I think only because I was a bassoonist, a rare breed then and still to this day!

My two years here were totally awesome. I cultivated some amazing friendships, made some excellent music, learnt a tremendous amount (but still managed to squander a horrendous amount to time!) and generally had a fantastic time.
